So you think you have a good CV? It's well written, concise and sells your strengths and experience to a prospective employer. But it's only a piece of paper. Think about it. That's pretty simplistic in this day and age. How can just one or two bits of paper really tell an employer all about you in this day age. This type of approach can benefit employers too. Recruitment can take forever. Firstly you have to sift through all those CVs and then you have to weed out the people whose skills don't live up to the rhetoric. With an interactive CV online, an employer can build a far more accurate picture of a candidate, thus making it much easier to assess whether to invite them in for an interview. Saving time and increasing the chances of getting the right person in. Definitely time to ditch the paper and drag recruitment into the 21st century. |
