Practicing frequently will show you faster progress, but stop or at the least have a break if you begin feeling worn-out or annoyed. Frequently returning to that hard lesson or piece of music more refreshed and relax will probably be just what is necessary to start playing it correctly.
The least expensive option is to teach yourself piano, but you have to be self disciplined and self motivated to make sure that you persist and practice regularly with any teach yourself piano course. There can be people that want a local class or a personal tutor to attend, to impose the discipline and routine into their piano education. However, if you don't want to risk wasting a lot of money on costly private tuition or if you just do not have the spare cash and you suspect you have got the self discipline you can definitely teach yourself piano.
