Features of Quality Gum Removal Machines

The process of gum removal can be difficult and time consuming when not equipped with the right cleaning equipment. In addition, contractors must use speed and efficiency to complete work fast and maximize profits. With the right machines and features, cleaning professionals can easily remove 1000s of pieces of gum per day.

The reason removing gum is time consuming is because it is often scattered around different locations. Unfortunately, most people spit out their gum wherever they happen to be. In turn, this requires cleaning professional to utilize long hours of work and makes the gum removal process much more difficult.

However, utilizing gum removal machines with high tech features will allow operators to complete the job much quicker and more efficiently. Ordinary cleaning machines do not have the required features for removing gum. The following is an overview of some of the major features of gum removing machines.

Temperature and Pressure

Steam cleaners equipped with gum removal capabilities are handy in the gum cleaning business. These machines are relatively easy to operate. In addition, these systems have ideal output specifications for gum removal.

The output temperature of these machines varies up to 329°F. This high temperature output melts the gum residue, even if it is very old and decayed. Such old gum residues may be deeply bound to the surface, and it takes a high temperature output along with special gum cleaning detergents to melt them.

High pressure levels are not required for removing gum. Suitable pressure levels for gum removal machines vary from 89 psi to 120 psi. Paired with high temperatures, this combination easily eliminates gum residue from the surface.

Right Accessories and Parts

Owners and workers in the gum removal business know that the quality and durability of the hardware components will ensure a long lasting and effective cleaning machine.

Successful gum removal equipment will have an attached wet/dry vacuum for extracting the left over residue after the cleaning process is complete. This enables operators to completely remove the gum deposit, along with water and solution used in the process. Without a vacuum, the operator must manually wipe away the residue or carry along a vacuum machine as they clean. This is inefficient and causes the cleaning process to take longer.

Vacuums equipped with HEPA filters help create a cleaner air environment by extracting very small particles such as dirt, allergens, and germs, and disabling them from being reintroduced into the air. In addition, machines with anti-bacterial technologies help eliminate more than 99 percent of germs and bacteria from surfaces where gum residues reside. Machines with this technology can sanitize surfaces where germs from gum residues are present. They may also be used independently as an antibacterial steam cleaner for other sanitization applications.

Other important accessories are brushes and squeegee tools. Accessories should be constructed of quality materials, but should be offered at a reasonable price. Brushes will often have to be replaced and high prices add up quickly.

The boiler tank is another important part of a steam cleaner with gum removal capabilities. For large areas, a bigger tank is recommended. Otherwise, the operators will have to stop working once the boiler becomes empty. This can be an inconvenience when removing gum from large areas like stadiums and schools.

One downside is that bigger boiler tanks affect the mobility of the machine, as the machine become heavier. Continuous refilling technology is a solution for this. The machines that make use of this technology allow operators to refill a non-pressurized water chamber, without having to shut down the machine. Water is drawn into the boiler tank as needed to maintain a constant temperature. Without this technology, operators must shut down the machine, wait for it to cool down, add water to the boiler, and wait for the system to reach operating temperature, once again.

For the most convenient, technologically advanced gum removal steam cleaners, consult a reputable online supplier.
