Stay at Cape Town Hotels in South Africa’s most popular tourist destination.

South Africa is one of the world’s most popular tourist destinations, and the most popular place to stay is in the most southern city in Africa, Cape Town, where you can find hundreds of things to do and see while staying at Cape Town hotels, which can offer you accommodation for your stay which is suitable for any budget.

Cape Town is a lively cosmopolitan city with a buzzing night life perfect for the tourist who wants to see life and have a great time. During the day there are the magnificent beaches of many different types. Cape Town is set between two oceans, and the beaches are different in their ambience. You can find quiet beaches suitable for lazing on the sand, some with spectacular silver sand or livelier ones with restaurants and cafes which stay open late at night, and where you can dine on delicious seafood before returning to the Cape Town hotels. Because of its proximity to the sea, being surrounded by its two oceans, the Atlantic and the Indian, water sports are big business in Cape Town. Surfing is popular, so if you are a beginner you can try it out at Muizenberg and there are more difficult and thrilling beaches available for the experts. Similarly you can try kite surfing, as Cape Town is one of the favourite Kite Surfing destinations in the world. Kayaking and yachting are also popular.

For something possibly more relaxing, Cape Town has an immense and unique population of wild life associated with its oceans. Here you can see whales and dolphins, and dive in this Marine Protected Area for a closer look at the colourful tropical fish in the Indian Ocean. The water here is clear and sparkling. For a major thrill, try shark diving. You can be protected from the safety of a shark cage as you watch these cold blooded beasts swim by, but don’t try dangling your feet in the water! If this doesn’t appeal, you can go diving in the relative safety of the Two Oceans Aquarium, but be warned, there are sharks here too, though they are not the great whites of the open ocean. After this experience, go back to the Cape Town hotels to prepare for your evening meal at one of Cape Town’s numerous restaurants.

South Africa is famous for its wines, red white and rose, and no holiday would be complete without sampling some of these. Cape Town is set near to the Cape Winelands and you can go on a tour of the vineyards. Because there are so many tours available, you will be spoilt for choice so it is best to take some local advice such as from Cape Town hotels as to the best on offer.

For the stay of a lifetime in South Africa, go to Capetownhotels.com to find your best accommodation.
