India Manufacturing Whether Really Can Exceed China
|
According to Deloitte's Global Manufacturing Group and the U.S. Council on Competitiveness report jointly issued by the Chinese manufacturing competitiveness in the world living in the first place. This is not what all the fuss. But few people think, India will surpass South Korea as the second largest manufacturing country.
According to the study, South Korea's manufacturing competitiveness ranking third in the world, the United States, Japan and Germany and other developed countries also ranked relatively higher. But in the next 5 years, the competitiveness of the manufacturing sector in developed countries compared to China's "huge workshop" is concerned, there will be degradation. This is to remind people of the world pay attention to reality: Asia is helping shape the global economy. This also reminded India and China to re-examine the difference between, China is a big manufacturing country, India is the IT industry power.
India has a large number of scientific and engineering talent, has a skilled and available skilled labor force to use English, but also has a flexible policy administration system, with advantages such as the above, India will become one of the world's leading manufacturing center, and quickly into the global production and supply chain. India's opportunity is obvious. Dependent on the export of domestic demand, China must strive to enhance and improve wages. This domestic demand-oriented India is undoubtedly a great advantage, as the young workforce in India and wage costs are not expensive.
However, India also needs to pay attention to often make my own mistakes "problem", mainly infrastructure, transportation and product distribution network continuity still need substantial improvement, and land acquisition policy has become a major constraint factor. China's economy is becoming more open, but India has to be further relaxed domestic investment and tax provisions. India's labor reform system is not mature, but like in order to promote national industry policy. Unless Indian companies feel that feasible government policies, otherwise they will not expand the number and size of the plant; unless India's labor force can be well organized, the employer will not invest to improve product yield and quality required for manufacturing process technology. Finally, India's industrial development also need to improve their technical and managerial capacity.
In summary, if you want to improve India's manufacturing competitiveness, the need for relevant educational, academic and business areas for large-scale investment. I believe the world looks to India overtake China. The question is: can India do it? |
