We’ve all heard the saying, “you are what you ______” insert: eat, hang out with, work, listen to, wear…the list goes on. Well, it’s true. You are defined by the world around you and today I want to show you how your lifestyle can score you chicks.
All the dating gurus tell you to act like you’ve got a life because it’s attractive to women when you’re busy. What if you didn’t have to put on an act and actually HAD a life? Hmmm even better! First off, if you don’t get physical and work out at least 3 times a week, start there. There’s no excuse for a man looking for a mate to not take care of himself physically. It could be anything-find a men’s basketball league, a jogging meet-up or take a yoga class (go ahead and laugh but I’ve met some hot women through yoga). It really doesn’t matter what it is but get it in gear, man. You’re looking for a hot woman who takes care of herself? Guess what, she’s looking for the same in a guy.
A close second to working your body is working your mind. I’m not ashamed to admit that I learned how to play guitar in college to pick up girls. It worked. Women love when you have hobbies. It can literally be anything as long as you’re passionate about it. My friend is a bird watcher…yeah we give him shit about it all the time but who’s got the last laugh when he takes women out to the wilderness on a picnic, teaches them about birds and gets laid? If you’re into video games that won’t impress her unless she is a rare woman that likes gaming. Every man has something that he is interested in and hasn’t fully explored. Something I forced myself to do was take an “improv comedy class.” I met a hot girl and had a lot of fun acting like a kid again, all while improving my social skills. Use getting women as an excuse to take your hobby to the next level.
Now that you’ve signed up to some classes and are working out 3 times a week you’re looking good and feeling better. This is how confidence is achieved: naturally. Confidence comes from the cute blonde noticing you walk by, the extra-friendly smile from the hot waitress, right? Those things are handed to you when you have a nice body that you’ve worked for and a desire to expand your mind and skill set. Finally, you’ve got to plug in.
When I say “plug in” I mean it literally. Plug in your Ipod to Itunes and keep your finger on the pulse of what new music is coming out. Not only is it impressive to a woman when you know about what is “hot right now,” music is the number one motivator for getting people off their butt and into the gym! Most girls love music, TV and pop culture. It makes for great conversation if they don’t have to explain it all to you-plus they think you have a lot in common.
Dress the part. It’s not hard. Women don’t want a guy who takes longer to get ready than they do. Your uniform should be a nice pair of dark jeans, and a button-down collared shirt. You literally cannot go wrong with this combo. As long as you’re not wearing bulky athletic shoes with this ensemble, you’re good to go. This is the perfect date outfit and generally good to wear because you look put together without trying too hard. |
