New York- State of New York


New York is the state of United State in northeastern region. It is the nation’s third most crowded state. The population of New York is about 8.1 million. It is the most populated state in the united state. It is recognized for its position as a financial, cultural, transportation, and industrialized center. The state of New York is frequently referred as New York State to differentiate it from the city of New York. New York is surrounded by New Jersey from south side. New York was populated by different tribes of Algonquian and Iroquoian speaking. New York’s most famous sign is the statue of Liberty. It was a gift for United State from France. The statue of liberty was saturated in New York Harbor on 28 Oct 1886. New York City has humid temperature. The winters are usually very long and cold. Temperature is minus 13 f in the winter season and can be low to 5 f. he New York City/Long Island area and lower areas of the Hudson Valley have quite warm summers by contrast, with some periods of high, uncomfortable moisture.

The rest of New York State enjoys enjoyably warm summers, spoiled by only irregular, short intervals of hot conditions. Summer daytime temperatures typically range from the 25C to 30C. New York has also many State parks and there are also two majors forest conserve. In 1892 the largest state park was established. The Catskill Park was confined in legislation passed in 1885 which stated that its land was to be preserved and never place up for sale or lease. Catskill Park covers almost 700,000 acres of land. Almost 400 of black bears are living in this area. The Montauk Point State park is established in 1797 and is the big attraction for tourists. The Montauk Point State Park also offers the camping. You can spend your time with your family in this park. In New York there are 62 cities. The most populated and large city in the state is New York City. The most ten largest cities are New York City, Buffalo, Rochester, Yonkers, Syracuse, Albany, New Rochelle, Mount Vernon, Schenectady and Utica. The smallest city in the sate of New York is Sherrill.

In the State of United State different people with different racial are living. In 2010 US Census Bureau declared that 65.7% are whites, 17.6% are Hispanic, 15.9% are Blacks, 7.3% are Asian, and 0.6% of Native American is living in the New York State. As different people with different cultures are living the religion is also different. 40% of population religion is Catholics. 30% of population is protestant, 8.4% of Jews , 3.5% of Muslims, 1% of Buddhists are living in the state of New York. New York’s economy is in blooming phase. You will have many opportunities of work if you are going there. New York import various item like commodities, computers, minerals, and automobile parts. The education system is highly standardized. There are four main university centers are University at Albany, Stony Brook University, Binghamton University, University of Buffalo
