Some Top Tips To Make The Most Out Of The Stunning HTC Sensation

If you are one of the many people who own an HTC Sensation, you may be somewhat overwhelmed with the features it offers. In this article I will give you my top tips for getting the best experience from your smartphone.

First, I suggest you take some time to look at all the benefits of the HTC Sense UI. This is the interface which runs over the top of the Android Gingerbread OS, and brings a number of innovations to the handset. You are able to assign up to 7 homescreens, so you can customise these with apps and widgets to optimise the screens for different scenarios. For example, you can set up a driving homescreen with HTC Navigation and Locations Apps, and a homescreen for social networking. To do this you may want to include Facebook and Twitter apps which are included as standard, or use the FriendStream widget which uses data feeds from both sites. To customise your homescreens, simply select the screen you wish to edit, and touch the customise icon in the bottom right corner.

My second suggestion is to make you HTC Sensation a well equipped music player. Simply hook up your handset to a computer using the included micro USB cable (which doubles up as a charger). Open the phone’s music folder and drag and drop your music files into this. The handset comes with an 8 GB micro SD memory card to get you started but you may wish to upgrade this at a later date with a card op up to 32 GB if you have a larger music collection. When you open your music player on the HTC Sensation all the track info and album art will be included. Then install a music widget of your choice. The standard music player widget does a good job, but there are others included on the handset as well as additional ones available for free download from HTC Hub. The HTC Sensation comes with a 3.5mm headset so you will now have everything you need to enjoy your favourite tunes on the go.

Then you may wish to set up the camera to your preferred settings. To do this, open the camera app, and touch the menu shortcut at the base of the screen where you can then access the settings menu. From here, you can select the quality of images and videos based on your preferences, as well as enable or disable the LED flash, autofocus and geo-tagging features. If you have limited space on your SD card after loading your music onto the phone, you may want to choose a lower resolution as this will take up less memory when you save an image. However, if you have ample space left, feel free to set videos to 1080p full HD and enjoy the results. Once you have filmed some footage, you then have the option to wirelessly stream it to a compatible TV, or instantly share it via email, Facebook or Twitter.

The HTC Sensation is packed with features, and if you carry out the tasks above you will be well on the way to making the most of your new smartphone.
