Record with the Help of Pro Tools

A Microsoft Windows interface serving as digital audio workstation, pro tools are manufactured by Avid technology. These are also manufactured by Mac OS X operating systems.
The software lets you use one of the two time bases for the tracks. The software is widely used by the professionals throughout the music industries for recording, editing and other production, film scoring, film and television as well. The software can be used as a software itself or can be used as using an external A/D converters and internal PCI or PCle audio cards with an onboard DSP.

Basically pro tools is a similar kind of software like DAW used for multi-track recorder and mixer with extra feature that can only be used in any digital field. The software supports 32-bit float audio at sample rates of up to 192 kHz and can hold WAV, AIFF, mp3, SDII audio files and quicktime video files. The software has the characteristics of showing time code, tempo maps, automation and surround sound capabilities.
The pro tools mix engine has conventionally put 48- bit point arithmetic but the floating point is also used in some cases like Pro Tools HD Native.

Sibelius is another kind of software used in the same purpose. But it has other features as well other than creating and editing. The software helps to play your background scores without any distortion. The software enables people to get good quality playback incorporated in the playback. ReWire is a standard that enables you to record audio tracks from the Sibelius on DAW.

Do you want to use the two software for better effect? For instance, you record a track in Sibelius and finetune it in pro tools.

The reasons behind calling this as twofold are as follows:

Avid technology owns the two company Sibelius and Digidesign (maker of pro tools). The software has a product called “M-powered” that is specifically designed to work with M-Audio hardware.

The software is considered to be standard in production of audio. If an audio track is taken outside in a studio for finetuning, you may be asked whether it has pro tools compatibility. The software is really helpful and is largely used in music industries nowadays. It has made recording and missing pretty easy. You can record your home track at home as well with the help of this. What is required to check while recording is sound clarity. While recording in analog type, people put the recording level to the highest point to avoid distortion. The clarity of the recording is increased by recording at high level on analog tape.

The software has proved very helpful in the music world. The composers are found to make vast use of this software. It produces accurate analog waveform. When the red peak light is activated and the audio light is clicked, in between the Pro tools has a certain amount of headroom. You need to keep an eye on the meters and also your ears to test the recording levels to check what is good for your system.
