Among the many colleges in the field it is hard to find the top medical colleges and MBBS colleges in Bangalore. There are now many shiny and glamorous places to fight for the ranking but there are more to the colleges that stand in the ranking. The white coats alone do not make any college excellent.
The faculty is one of the main factors to decide the position of a collage. For medical colleges which teach post graduate courses the crisis is more prominent and so the faculty alone can make the difference there among the good and bad college. The next boost up for a collage is the infrastructure they provide. A well preserved anatomical centre is very much necessary for medical studies to give the students their first experience of the human body and also provide the hands on experience so required for the profession. For these two reasons only some of the hospitals are considered better for medical study. In deed top medical collages and MBBS collages in Bangalore are mostly from the hospitals only.
This though does not automatically make every hospital in Bangalore a top medical college. There are other issues which affect the ranking. Expenditure is one of them. There can be many refused but bright students if there is no grant or scholarship for them and some of the lesser known colleges will wait for them to get the breakthrough. Scholarships for the needy students are also important to get the more promising students. If the ranking is for national level then there will also be students from outside the state or some students who will not be from the immediate locality. Good residential hostel is a prime requirement for them and as this is related to education the existing environment for that is of prime importance. It is not the polished floors or air conditioned rooms of the hostel that determine top medical colleges and MBBS colleges in Bangalore but the ambience to encourage education is the most important need for the college to be in the top rankings and that has been so even with other changing requirements. |
