How to Create Magento Grouped Product or Magento Configurable Product?

Magento Grouped Product:
A grouped product is related to the process of products’ selection displayed on the product page. Quantity boxes are shown and products normally remain alike in nature. Such as a knife could be shown with many different sizes of the similar knife, as Chef’s Knife 5”, Chef’s Knife 4” etc.
How can you create a Magento grouped product?
1) First ensure to create the individual products that are to be made up as the grouped product
2) Now Go Catalog > Manage Products, and hit on Add Product.
3) Opt for Grouped Product for the product type.
4) Here will come an extra tab, named Associated Products; from here you get to add individual products that are to be made up as the Grouped Product.
5) Look for the products to be grouped by entering their name into Name field and hit Search.
6) When you see the products you need, mark the check box and hit Save to apply (the Default Qty and Position fields then are unlocked and they can be edited whenever you need it).
Magento Configurable Product:
A configurable product allows customers to opt for the variety of a product they wish by making a selection from an assortment of different options. For creating a configurable product, you have to generate the individual products needed with their own separate skus that could be included to the configurable product. Using this functionality, a customer can search for a variety of product and get the results of the individually generated products.
How can you create a Magento configurable product?
1) First create the attributes that are configured by the users, such as T-shirt needs the attributes as Colour and Size.
2) Then create the individual products
3) Create the configurable product by getting to Catalgue > Manage Products, and hit the Add Product button.
4) You can thereafter select Configurable Product from the drop down menu, and attribute set ‘T-shirt’ and hit Continue.
5) You’re now able to choose which attributes are to be associated with the product, choose both ‘Color’ and ‘Size’.
6) On the Associated Products tab, check one (or all) and the Associated Products Attributes Configuration will come above the list that allows you to select the sort order of the selectable attributes.
7) Now, you will have to enter the Attribute Name that are to be displayed on screen by you.
