RS232 to RS485 converters: Modifying the Obsolete Communication Standards

RS485: This standard is published by the ANSI Telecommunications Industry Association/Electronic Industries Alliance (TIA/EIA). This is why, it is also called as TIA/EIA-485. It helps the digital communications networks to assure appreciable performance over electrically noisy environments as well as long distances. It makes way for a linear and multi drop configuration that helps in connecting multiple receivers to the network and hence is best to be used applications prevalent in the industrial environment. Most of the users that still stick with old devices that use RS232 standard can conveniently make them RS485 compliant with the help of a rs232 to rs485 converter.
