Book a Camden taxi

If you’re looking for a quiet, secluded spot to enjoy in London, Camden probably isn’t the best place for you. However, if you want a vibrant, lively space with excited crowds of all ages, market stalls selling everything you can think of, hot food sizzling in street cafes, arts and crafts along the lock and fashions from every walk of life, we’d recommend you take a cab to Camden. It’s absolutely bursting with character, and if the throngs are anything to go by, this is the perfect place to spend a day out in London.

You’re spoiled for choice when it comes to markets here. Spilling over with vintage and alternative pieces, original designs and bargain prices, you have the choice of the markets on Buck Street, the Lock or Camden Stables. As well as clothes and shoes, you’ll find jewellery, ornaments, food and drink, arts and crafts, books, games, furniture, fabrics and great gift ideas. You might want to book a Camden taxi to take you home at the end of the day, as you’re likely to be laden with bags full of new purchases! It’s hard to resist the unique treasures here.

Camden is also a brilliant place to go out in the evening. There’s a huge selection of bars and restaurants to start off, with music ranging from jazz and blues to thrash metal. You’ll find nightclubs playing pop, r ‘n’ b, drum and bass and dubstep, along with plenty of live music. There are some famous venues that have played host to legendary musicians, such as Koko, Roundhouse, Proud Camden and The Dublin Castle. Some have free entry, some charge on the door and others require tickets to be bought in advance; it’s best to check before you go to avoid disappointment. If you’re planning to have a drink or three, make sure you plan your travel home; there’s a tube from Camden Town on the Northern Line, but this finishes shortly after midnight. The safest option is to book one of the private minicabs Camden has to offer, which will take you straight to your front door.

For a day out with the family, come here to visit London Zoo. It’s a real adventure, especially for those who have never had the chance to see wild animals up close before. Living in the city means you don’t get much exposure to nature’s creatures, aside from rats and foxes! At the zoo you get to see monkeys and apes, lions, tigers, meercats and giraffes. You can walk through the Aquarium and the reptile house, or inspect insects and butterflies. There are plenty of cafes and food stalls here too if you need some refreshments. There’s no end to the fun you can have!
