Why Chinese Women Shy Away From Acknowledging Their Beauty Publicly

Most men across the globe, if asked, would undoubtedly name Chinese women as the prettiest of all females. But surprisingly, when confronted with this truth, a majority of these oriental women seem to become self-conscious and even reject the idea as foolish. Although Chinese females are well aware of their mesmerizing beauty, they rarely seem to acknowledge the fact publicly. Most people consider it an aspect of their modest personality and consequently feel even more attracted to them. However, it is not the modesty of the Chinese ladies but rather their upbringing that prevents them from accepting the truth about being beautiful openly.
The conservative and traditional upbringing of most Chinese women teaches them to conceal their innermost emotions and feelings from everyone as exposing them would only make them weak and put them at the risk of being emotionally and physically hurt. Hence they take extreme care not to give vent to their feelings either verbally or through their expressions and attitude. Hence, being aware about their beauty in secret is quite normal for them. Due to their thinking, Chinese females on being complimented about their beauty, generally feel guilty of having unknowingly exposed their most intimate feelings. This phenomenon is more predominant in women belonging to rural areas as they have the least exposure people from other cultures.
Although Chinese women are considered astoundingly beautiful by a majority of men, they are rarely considered worthy of second look by the Chinese men. In fact Chinese men feel that the supposedly gorgeous females of China are just ordinary looking and in most cases even ugly. This constant rejection from the men of their own community for since ages, naturally makes Chinese females doubt validity of their mesmerizing looks and hence rather than exposing themselves to embarrassment and insult, they prefer to conceal their true feelings under the veil of indifference and sometimes even arrogance.
