Every Youngsters Dream to Enter Into AIR FORCE via AFCAT 2012


If students are having a dream to enter into the Air Force as proud recruits in various positions, they can also get an opportunity throughout their life to appear in the AFCAT 2012. The Indian defense System has 3 branches. The Air Force has been taken into consideration as the most thrilling and the most prestigious among all the 3 branches. It is however obvious that thousands of people are always interested to join the air force, both as civilian staff as well as soldiers in various technical fields. Eligible candidates can be trained by the Air Force in various technical subjects after appearing in the exam. After this entrance exam is completed, people can work in the air force at various positions. There is a vast availability of these opportunities for the interested students. However, the study of these courses is becoming immensely popular.

The AFCAT 2012 is mainly held for admitting the students in various different courses such as flying branches for women and men. There is technical branch for women and men as well. Apart from that there are ground duty branches for women as well as men. When the entrance test is cleared by the students in 2012, these courses can be studied starting from 2013. These are held in two sessions. One is in January and the other is in July. Both these branches have different qualifications and different eligibility criteria are required. These can be attained if students desire to choose the branch.

In this technical branch for men, there is aeronautical engineering as well as mechanical engineering. There are many subjects for which a candidate can be eligible. Provided, the candidates must have a 60 percent average marking in B.tech or BE courses. Candidates are trained in logistics and administration through these ground duty branches. The eligibility is a graduation or a post graduation degree. There is a requisite mark for passing. A person can also choose another branch and this includes that of accounts. Students who are having a graduate or a post graduate degree in commerce, M.com, CA or ICWA with 50 percent marks can apply. There is also another branch of education. The course can be undertaken if they have passed post graduation or graduation in any discipline with more than 50 percent and 60 percent marks. Aeronautical engineering in mechanical and electronics is another branch that has been available for students for UES entry. Application can be submitted by the students even if they are in their pre-final year or B.tech or BE degrees from any recognized university.

After a person passes the AFCAT 2012 test, he will have to undergo the test for an allotted period of time. After that, he will get a placement in Air Force and will get a good job in short service commissions. These are jobs that have a good pay scale and have a good respect. There are many students who have a lot of interest in upcoming tests.
