But the main argument of these protesters is that the Valentine’s Day celebrations are exceeding the limits of conduct code laid down by the society. They are also arguing that the Valentine’s Day has nothing to do with any religions or cultures but has been propagated widely to boost certain business interests. Anti Valentine’s Day protestors are criticizing that this celebration has been commercialized by giving too much publicity and the manufacturers of cards and gifts are taking advantage of this.Whatever their arguments may be, the sale of valentine’s day cards and gifts are increasing year by year. This shows the popularity the day has earned among the people all over the world. And there is no doubt that this trend will continue for several more years. |
