The Fascinating and Charismatic Beaches of Goa


Goa is a the most visited Indian state not only by Indians but people from all over the world come to spend their vacation . Goa is small region In India known for its mind blowing Beaches, antique Churches and Temples, royal Forts, thrilling Wildlife sanctuaries and lush green landscapes add beauty to the gorgeous state. Due to its position near the Western Ghats and Arabian Sea, the state has a coastline of 125 kilometers and has almost fifty exotic beaches. To make it easier for the tourists the beaches are separated into North and South Goa. The beaches which fall in the northern part of Goa are a hub of various activities and enjoyment. Whereas the southern part of Goa have beaches which provide a feeling of preferred consolation and seclusion. Medication is an important activity seen on the beaches of South Goa.

The Anjuna is the most famous beach of North Goa located near the Chapora Fort. The Anjuna is the most stunning and well liked in the state and was found out by the Hippies. The beach is quite trendy for its moonlit parties and the Flea Bazaar. The best time to visit Anjuna is from November to February. One can indulge into a wide range of activities such as parasailing, windsurfing, sunbathing, yachting, motor scooter and many more. The beach shacks serve excellent Goan cuisine basically the mouth watering sea food. The Flea Bazaar, Albuquerque Mansion and Chapora Fort are some of the appealing places to visit near the beach. The Anjuna is the liveliest among all the beaches in the state and so it becomes necessary to visit the place.

The Calangute is the most profit making beach in the state as you will find majority of the tourists spending their time here. You will see a huge number of foreigners enjoying sunbathing on the beach. The Baga Beach is the extension of Calangute and is quite calm and serene as compared to the Calangute. The Baga Beach is quite famed for its night life. The Club Tito and Café Mambo are well recognized and quite popular. Most of the tourists visit Baga just to have fun and enjoy the parties held here. Kite surfing, wind surfing and wake boarding are some of the activities one can take part. Also the sand at the Baga is fresh and dirt free and it is said that the sand of the beach has some medicinal and therapeutic properties in it. Swimming is quite safe so one can definitely take the pleasure to swim in the clean waters of Baga beach. It is careful to swim in the areas where lifeguards are there. Other leisure activities carried on the Baga are Tarot reading, shopping, palmistry etc.

The Dona Paula is well known for its festivals such as the Janmashtami and the Feast of St Lawrence and is celebrated with Great Spirit and enthusiasm. Also the colorful water sports festival is the major tourist attraction and is celebrated in the month of November. Other exotic beaches to holiday in Goa are Majorda, Miramar, Palolem , Candolim, Vagator and Colva Beach. The State of Goa is an ultimate destination for fun and excitement. So planning a holiday with family and friends to the alluring and glittering state therefore becomes essential.
