There is a 5 megapixel camera included with 720p video and flash, fast internet browsing, and a 4 inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen which is great for multimedia use. It also has a powerful 1.4 GHz processor, so it also provides outstanding performance.
Devices like the HTC Desire S and the Samsung Wave 3 may not be marketed as heavily as many other smartphones, but if you take the time to look at the alternatives, you can pick up a feature packed smartphone without spending a fortune.
