2011 Cruises From UK

Despite of the global economic slow-down, the cruising industry has consistently continued to grow and is improving with every passing season. Many companies have entered the cruising business and as each of these cruise liner companies standardize their operations and cruise deals, the more difficult it becomes for you to choose the best cruise liner to book your cruise trip. Every cruise liner has their own fleet of ships, each better than the other and with their own special features. 2011 cruises have started the buzz with the introduction of new cruise ships along with the new set of alluring destinations and port halts.

The Carnival Magic of Carnival Cruises, the Celebrity Silhouette of Celebrity Cruise Liner and the Disney Dream of the Disney Cruise Line are the biggest ships that are to be launched in 2011. The other new ships that are a part of 2011 cruises are Marina of Oceania Cruises, AidaSol of the Aida Cruises, the Costa Favolosa of Costa Cruises and the Seabourn Quest of Seabourn Cruises.

Carnival Magic - The Carnival Cruise liner company is all set to launch their luxury Dream-class ship sometime in May 2011. The Dream-class is one of the largest ships of the Carnival Cruise Liners and has a capacity to accommodate 3,690 passengers. The Carnival Magic is the 23rd ship of the Carnival Cruise Liner and will provide 7 to 12 day cruise trips from Barcelona.

Disney Dream – The Disney Cruises have scheduled the launch of their new vessel, Disney Dream in January 2011. It’ll be the largest cruise ship of Disney Cruise Line and is will be able to accommodate around 4,000 passengers. It’ll start from Florida and provide a range of wonderful cruise trips to Bahamas.

Celebrity Silhouette – The Celebrity Silhouette is the 4th Solstice-class ship of the Celebrity Cruise Liner. Like the other ships of this class, this cruise ship will also have the capacity of accommodating 2,850 passengers. As per the schedule it is to be launched by July 2011 and it’ll start from Hamburg. The Celebrity Silhouette will cruise across the Mediterranean during the summer season of 2011.

Costa Favolosa – The Costa Favolosa is scheduled to be launched in July 2011 and can accommodate about 3,780 passengers. It’ll be the 16th vessel of the popular Costa Cruises and will be almost similar to its Costa Pacifica which was launched last year. The Costa Favolosa will cruise in the Mediterranean next summer.

Though 2011 cruises have a few new vessels when compared to 2010 and 2009, but still the launch of these major cruise ships is sure to energise the cruise industry.
