The Sophisticated Motorola RAZR Features An 8 MP Camera With Full HD Video

Many are claiming that the Motorola RAZR is the best phone to come out of Motorola since the beginning of the smartphone era in 2007. This particular phone flaunts one of the most compelling phone designs in recent memory thanks to its razor thin construction and premium features. The Motorola RAZR is the thinnest smartphone in the market with a thickness of 7.1mm. You should know that this thickness is not uniform due to the presence of a hump towards the top as you approach the camera sensors. To match its appearance, it is without doubt one of the lightest smartphones in its size category.

Its thinness should not be confused for fragility because it is offers superb build quality. Internally, it is strengthened by a stainless steel chassis and its Kevlar fibre back cover is a strong reinforcement. The phone can slightly absorb some liquid splashes but it is not completely waterproof.

Just like some of the previous Motorola phones, the Motorola RAZR has a display screen that is 4.3 inches qHD. The difference that sets this phone apart is the Super AMOLED Advanced panel that replaces the traditional LCD one, offering improved battery performance and impressive viewing angles even in direct sunlight.

The saturated colours that it’s able to produce are certainly impressive. The contrast ratio, wide viewing angles and the deep black colour is immediately noticeable when compared to many other smartphones.

Beneath its display are capacitive Android buttons. The microphone is located quite close to the home button. Directly above the display are the narrow earpiece and the front-facing 1.3-megapixel camera.

The memory of the phone is 8GB. To complement the memory, there is a plastic flap on the left side where you can insert your microSIM card and microSD card, allowing up to 32 GB of additional storage to be attained, dependent on the memory card used.

The power button is located on the right edge along with the volume rocker instead of the top side of the phone which is usually the case with some of the previous Motorola phones. The top edge of the phone has the phones headset jack which is 3.5mm in thickness. In addition to that, the top edge of the phone also claims home to the microUSB port and micro HDMI port. This is quite impressive for a device that is razor thin.

Remember when we talked about the hump that forms the slight bulge? Here is where you will find the 8 megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash and the speakerphone grill.

All in all, the RAZR stands out from the rest of the Androids due to its slim profile coupled with a surprisingly lengthy spec list. The RAZR is slim but it is also wide due to the 4.3 inch screen it houses.

If you are in the market for a new smartphone, the Motorola RAZR comes highly recommended; it offers style and substance, a combination which not all smartphones are able to offer.
