The first day of the conference will bring together leaders and experts from across the world and region to discuss many topics of importance to addressing the pressing challenges of education, in India, including technology and innovation, human capital, skill development, private equity investments in higher education, creation of physical infrastructure and philanthropy.

The second day will be dedicated exclusively to students and parents who are interested in studying abroad. Visiting University presidents, deans and faculty from around the world as well as experts who have studied abroad will address every aspect of study abroad ranging from choosing a study abroad destination, courses of study, scholarships, financial aid, application procedures, and visas to help make informed decisions.

With nearly 54% of India’s 1.2 billion people under the age of 25, India has a historic opportunity to benefit from a demographic dividend in the coming three decades. According to India’s National Knowledge Commission, the country will need to educate over 600 million people under the age of 25 through proper education to build future growth and prosperity. Higher education will be an imperative for the transformation of society and the Indian and South Asian economies in the 21st century.
