The Stylish Samsung Wave 3 Boasts A 5 MP Camera With 720p Video Capture

The Samsung Wave 3 is the stylish successor to the impressive Samsung Wave 2. It offers the combination of impressive specifications and pleasing aesthetics. It offers a great alternative to the Android and iOS powered devices currently dominating the market, so on that not, lets take a look at some of its key features.

When choosing a new smartphone, one of the most important features for many users is the camera. Whilst the camera on the Samsung Wave will win no awards for its attributes, it is certainly up to the task of taking high quality still images. At 5 megapixels (2592x 1944 resolution), the resulting images are sure to please the majority of users in terms of detail and clarity. The camera can also be used to capture video footage with setting of up to 720p high definition. When using the TV out socket, users can stream their videos and photos to a compatible TV, and enjoy their handiwork on the big screen. Users will then really appreciate the quality of the video footage. The camera comes with all the standard features you would expect from any smartphone these days; with smile & blink detection, autofocus, image stabilisation and LED flash all included as standard.

Internet browsing is also a big part of the appeal of smartphones, and the Samsung Wave 3 is well equipped to carry out this task. In 3G covered areas, an HSDPA connection allows users to download data t speeds of 14.4 Mbps, which is the same as the HTC Sensation and iPhone 4S. This means that web pages load quickly and YouTube videos stream with minimal buffering. Wi-Fi is the alternative connection method, and allows for even faster performance, with less strain on the battery, and also does not use up your data allowance which is useful if you have such restrictions on your tariff. To use Wi-Fi you simply need to have the appropriate access details for local wireless networks, which will be saved on the phone so that you will automatically connect whenever you are in range.

As mentioned, the Samsung Wave 3 is a stylish smartphone, and looks rather different to many of the new smartphones which, let’s face it, all look rather similar. The handset comfortable houses the 4 inch super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen, whilst maintaining a very slim profile of just 9.9mm.

I have only covered a couple of the handset’s main features in this article, but hopefully it has given you an idea of what to expect from the device. if you are interested in the Samsung Wave 3, I suggest you take a closer look at the rest of its spec list. The handset is currently available on SIM free deals, which allows you to install a SIM card of the network and tariff of your choice for maximum flexibility.
