In this article I will take a look at the key features of the Apple iPhone 4 8GB.
Obviously, as the name of the handset suggests, this edition of the popular iPhone 4 only has 8 GB of internal storage. This may not sound like a positive feature at first, as surely the more storage the better, right?
For many this will be the case, but we need to remember that not everyone uses the 16GB, 32GB or even 64GB found on their phones. Those who do use up all the storage likely do so because they like to carry their entire music collection on their phone, or a large number of videos, photos and apps etc. But not everybody does this. So rather than charge a lot of money for a phone with storage that you will never use, surely you would rather pay less for a phone which only has the features you are more likely to use. Also, 8GB is not the highest amount of storage in the world, but it certainly isn’t the least; 8GB can comfortably house hundreds of music tracks, dozens of apps and numerous photos and videos. Whilst there is no micro SD slot included, 8 GB will, in reality, cater to most users out there.
Of course, the handset retains all the other features that made the iPhone 4 so popular in the first place. There is a 5 megapixel camera with 720p (high definition) video capture and LED flash, as well as the “retina” display, which gets its name from its high pixel resolution; so high in fact, that individual pixels are unable to be distinguished by the naked eye. This really lends itself to multimedia use such as viewing photos and videos, as well as playing games and surfing the internet. As with most Apple products, the iPhone 4 8GB is compatible with the AppStore, allowing users to browse thousands of apps from numerous categories, which can be downloaded straight to the phone.
The iPhone 4 8GB retains all the functionality and great features that made the original such a popular handset, and comes highly recommended if you are on a budget but still looking for a stylish and features packed smartphone.
