Do the Textbooks Belong to Books

When the children graduated from school, I saw them throw the textbooks more than one time. At that time, I could not understand their actions. Did they have any emotions for those books which have accompany them for many years? They not only have no feelings, but also they felt that textbooks have took a lot of bad memory for them, even they want to throw all the memories about the books. How much the students hate the textbook to have to burn them.
At the outset, I could remember how I can to deal with my textbooks. A small part of the textbooks and learning material were borrowed, the rest of them I also did not collect, but for regarding as the waste paper to sell. And now on my shelves, I would not find any textbooks too. Originally, I did not have any deep emotion on my textbooks, but now I feel some regrets in my mind when I remembered them. Why I did not save a few?
I did not burn a textbook; it did not mean that I love them with deep feeling. When I graduated from school, I also felt that the textbooks liked monsters, at the same time, I was so happy that I would never have any relationship with them. Am I self-fish like this? Just like a person i do not like her, even if she has many shortcomings, but she really accompany with me for a period of hard time, and this time would never come again. In the end, the books like the used paper, and they are not worth to collect not at all, even more they could not become the old friends of the time of our growth and struggle. What’s wrong with our textbooks?
I still remember that when I first got a new textbook in primary school, I hold it in my hand as my precious goods. I asked my parents to put a paper cover on the books as soon as possible after arriving at home, and then write the name and class on it carefully. I would never forgive him if someone dirties my textbook. At that time, I believed that the textbooks are the books, which could lead us to the ocean of knowledge. But now the memories of the textbooks are far away from me, what can I do for them?
