The rest of the action sequences, songs and music remain the same. Such movies have made a big impact on the audiences these days, as they get to see movies made in tollywood in Andhra Pradesh and vice versa.
Another factor that has worked in favour of the popularity of the movies of one region in another is the role of the female stars. It has been an uprising trend to have female leads from areas which are out of south Indian realm. Apart from being good looking, these leading ladies are being presented with meaty roles, so that folks are thronging the theatres and multiplexes to see the female oriented films. They are adding to the larger than life persona of the Telugu or Tamil movie. Such factors have been adding together to showcase the best talents in the south Indian cinema and the only way now for these movies is upwards.
