Vuclip Opens First Annual "Clippie Awards" to People's Choice Voting

Awards Program to Honor Top Mobile Video Content around the Globe in More Than 20 Categories
Vuclip, the world's largest independent mobile video service, announced that it has opened the first annual Clippie Awards to People's Choice voting. The voting will capture top mobile video selections globally, as well as selections specific to three countries: USA, India and Venezuela. The winning People's Choice clips will be announced in January 2012, issued along with a special report of most viral mobile videos in various categories measured for the full year of 2011.
Global mobile video categories open to voting include: funniest clip, best sentimental clip, best anime clip, most creative clip, top glamour clip and funniest sports clip. U.S. categories open to voting include: most popular movie trailer, best advertisement, best non-movie music clip, funniest clip, best sentimental clip, favorite glamour clip, most watched football clip, funniest sports clip. The special report for 2011 revealing the most viral mobile videos of the year will also track the included categories such as most popular mobile video clip of the year, most international clip, most popular movie clip, highest viewed raw news footage, among other others.
In order to participate in the People's Choice voting process, please point your mobile browser to: clippies.vuclip.com, view the nominees and make your selections. Note that in addition to voting on a smartphone, you may also vote on a PC or tablet, but the experience is optimized for phones. Once you've voted, you may share the survey and encourage others to vote via your social media channels such as Facebook and Twitter. You will be allowed to vote as many times as you like between December 15, 2011 and December 31, 2011.
