The HTC Rhyme Offers A Simple Interface For Camera Use

HTC have released some superb premium phones recently but they have also produced a great mid range device that will appeal to a large number of consumer thanks to it stylish looks that it offers. The new HTC Rhyme is a handset aimed at a female audience but the phone will appeal to all different kinds of users looking for great specification at a pocket friendly price. We explore the camera features that are present on this great new model.
A high quality still camera is fitted in the HTC Rhyme that can capture still images at a resolution of 2592 x 1944 pixels. This figure equates to 5 million pixels which tends to be the benchmark for phones of this quality with only the more premium devices tending to offer resolution of 8 mega pixels. An LED flash is fitted on the phone which is ideal for capturing the moment when lighting conditions are not perfect. The model uses the new Sense 3.5 user interface and this has improved the controls that the camera uses. On the right hand side of the screen there is the shutter key which can easily be activated with your right thumb. A number of other keys are located alongside the shutter button including the toggle that switches the camera between the main lens and the front facing camera. In the top left hand corner of the screen you will find the button that enables you to add various effects to your images and below this there is a shortcut to the gallery which allows you to view all of the photos that you have taken on the phone.
The HTC Rhyme includes a number of features that help you achieve great results from the camera. The model has Face Detection and when this is activated the phone will automatically focus on any faces that are within the frame. There is also an excellent touch focus facility which simply enables you to tap the part of the picture that you want the camera to focus on. If you prefer to keep matters a little more simple then you can simply leave the phone in autofocus mode and the device will concentrate on whatever is featured in the centre of the frame. A handy feature for fans of social networking sites is the new Auto Upload option which allows you to quickly load your picture onto sites such as Facebook the moment it is captured. Geo Tagging is incorporated which puts a geographical location on all photos that you take. This is particularly useful if you travel a lot and want a reminder of where each individual snap is taken.
The HTC Rhyme includes an excellent camera facility which produces a great standard of image together with some excellent options which make taking the photograph a quick and simple affair.
