The Blackberry Torch 9860 is one of the new upgraded versions of the original 9800 Torch. The main difference between this and its predecessor it the noticeable lack of a physical Qwerty keyboard. As mentioned, there is no slide out keyboard on this model as there is on the rest of the Torch range. As a camera phone, the Blackberry Torch 9860 is well equipped, with a 5 megapixel with a pixel resolution of 2592x 1944 on hand to take good quality still images along with video footage in 720p high definition. The camera comes with all the usual features such as autofocus, image stabilisation and face detection along with an LED flash which also works when shooting videos.
The operating system of choice is Blackberry OS 7.0, and alongside a powerful 1.2 GHz processor, a great user experience is assured. The processor is among the most powerful single-core processors available, so it really makes a difference in terms of the touchscreen responsiveness, loading and operating times of apps, and graphics when gaming.
