There are plenty of things that families can do together. Going camping is one of them. The issue with camping out is the amount of equipment that will have to be taken along. This is where things like 4x4 trailers prove useful. The larger question is how can you tell if you need one or not? Here are a few things to keep an eye out for.
Daughters, particularly teen age ones
If you have adolescent daughters you are going to need one of those well-known 4x4 trailers if you're planning on going camping out. Between your daughters as well as wife you aren't going to cash space in the car if you do not. They tend to feel a need to take all the little luxuries with them whenever they go camping. Roughing it's just not really in their vocabulary. And woe betide you if you try to stop them from packing exactly what they feel like they are going to need, your head is going to be screamed off and you'll have tears as well as tantrums. Babies
