Selling Your Classic Car?

Now that you have finally made the decision to part way with your Classic car, we are here to advise you on how to go about doing so to ensure that you make the best deal possible.
Firstly, you would need to know what your car is worth, one way of doing this is by reviewing listings of similar vehicle for sale, ensure you compare like with like. However, you should note that this is not the best option since there is no guarantee that the listed cars are even being considered by prospective buyers. What we recommend is having an expert valuation, if your car is valued by a reputable person or organization your stakes become higher as your car may arouse added appeal than other similar vehicles on the market.
Bearing in mind that photo advertisements are three times likelier to attract a buyer than non photo advertisement. You would want to take lots of high quality photographs of both the exterior and interior of your car ensure that they are taken from different angle so that the prospective buyer can get a true appreciation of what your car looks like. Your photographs should capture tires, trunk, under the hood, instrument gauge, odometer etc. Any imperfections should also be captured in your photographs since false impressions will only result in wastage of your time as well as the prospective buyer's time.
Be Creative when describing your car, this will help to improve its appeal than a list of facts. Example, it would be more appealing to say "If you are looking for a vehicle that conveys pure power and indomitable force then this 1967 Forde Mustang is for you" instead of saying "1967 Ford Mustang for sale". However you need to take caution in ensuring that you do not misrepresent any aspect of the car in advertisement text.
Advertising your classic car through more than one medium will significantly increase your chances of a quick sale. Although there are some free or cheaper options when considering where to advertise your car such as your local classified or Craigslist, we recommend that you place you advertisement with vintage car's magazines or on websites such as Old Ride, Auto Trade Classics and Old Car Online.
Now that you are well equipped to make a great deal on the sale of your classic car we would like to wish you the best of luck and happy selling.
