Contract Jobs- Contract That Pays and Plays

How many of us actually plan that after graduation, we will work for say 2yrs and after that we will get into some PG course? Many. And what work you will do in those two years, obviously something that will give a good look to our resumes. And it should also have a good connection with the course that we will be opting for. And for that where should we search for jobs, I mean you really can’t go to an interview and tell them that see we are here for 2yrs only, no, that won’t work at all. For such situations there is something known as a contract basis job which can also be labeled as jobs on probation and this probation period may vary from 1-2yrs and it is even extendable in some cases. But are these contract jobs easy to find, yes they are because now a day’s not only private but government firms are also offering jobs n probation period. For this you should at least be a graduate. What these jobs demand from you is highly efficient work on less salary but mind you this job works wonder if you land into a
good firm that might not pay you well but teaches you everything that is necessary.

Banks and IT sectors tops the charts when it comes to contract basis jobs. But you surely need to keep few things in mind which will save you from getting cheated by the company.

First of all the contract jobs that they are offering you. Don’t just get into a contract before knowing all the conditions involved in it. There might be condition that you can’t leave the company without the company’s consent. Usually you don’t have to pay the company if you leave the job before the mentioned contract time, well that’s a huge plus point of these jobs. But there are certain companies that will ask you to at least serve a notice period of give away a month’s salary. You should know all these things for they might take action against you if you deny accepting any of these after signing the contract. Always mention the need of the experience certificate and also check to it whether they giving you the PF plans and if they are never feel shy to ask for that money while leaving for it is your hard earned money only.

Once the contract gets over, try to maintain good relations with them, for their might b case that you think of getting experience for one more year and if the same company is again looking for people to work on contract basis then they might consider you as it will save their training cost. N moreover it never harmful to maintain a contact that might prove out to be beneficial in future. Also, never feel shy in asking about all the conditions that they’ve put in the contract because your career is at stake here. Contract jobs have their own beauty, for less stress of notice period is involved so if you are planning to work for few years, and then to do something else, then this job is surely meant for you.
