Spending your holiday in Agra means that you are spending your precious time along with that monument which is ranked as one of the Seven Wonders of the World – Taj Mahal. If you are opting for Agra Tour then it is the best option you have chosen for spending your valuable holidays in India. It doesn’t matter that from where you are coming from, because the beauty and attraction of the Taj Mahal is such that you are bowled over and your holiday becomes the most memorable trip. Taj Mahal– The center of attraction of the city Agra is the monument of love – the Taj Mahal. It was built in the memory of the queen Mumtaz Mahal by the Emperor of Mughal Shah Jahan. This historical monument is treated as sign of love. It comes in the list of World’s Seven Wonders. Taj Mahal is constructed fully out of white dazzling marble and no other monument can beat the enchanting beauty of Taj Mahal. The first place which a tourist wants to go in Agra is Taj Mahal.

Agra Fort– After Taj Mahal come the Agra Fort, which is India’s most significant Fort. This Fort has its own importance because the great Emperors of Mughal period such as Babur, Jahangir, Akbar, Shah Jahan & Aurangzeb all resided in this Fort and ruled the whole country from this place. With the Agra Fort, there present are numerous popular sub-sections such as Jahangir Mahal, Anguri Bagh, Jodhabai Mahal, Khass Mahal, Sheesh Mahal, Golden Pavilion, Diwan-i-Khas, Hamam-i-Shahi and Musamman Burj. All these monuments attract the tourists towards it with its great history.

Sikandar– Sikandar is Akbar’s mausoleum, which is situated about 10 kilometers far from the main Agra City. A harmonious blend of Christian, Hindu, Jain and Buddhist style of building and the Akbar’s tomb were all commenced by him, but was later modified by Jahangir, his son. The building is made up of red stone which grabs the attention of the tourists from far itself and also has amazing marble work inside the building. There are, similar to Taj Mahal, 3 storey minarets on all the 4 corners.

Fatehpur Sikri– It is located outside the city Agra. It is the famous place which grabs the attention of the visitors. Fatehpur Sikri has served once as capital of the Mughal Emperor Akbar. In Fatehpur Sikri you can find out many popular structures such as Jodha Bai Mahal, Birbal Mahal, Mariyam Mahal & Diwan-i-Khas.

Itam Ud Daulah– This is another place where you can see while on a tour to Agra. This is a tomb and Noor Jahan; Emperor Jahangir’s wife gave special orders for constructing this tomb for Mirza Ghiyas Beg, father of Noor Jahan.
