Women are obsessed with their hair. We spend hours and hours getting expensive salon cuts and treatments which are designed to improve the appearance of our locks. We try our every style there is until we find something that fits and then we spend huge amounts of time each day styling our hair to ensure it looks good. The Causes

Genetics
Unfortunately, some women will inherit female pattern baldness from their parents and there is not a lot which can be done about this. If your mother has suffered from womens hair loss, then it is possible that you may also suffer the same fate. The important thing is not to worry about this, as there are measures which can be taken to cover up this baldness should it occur.
Low DHT Levels
A common cause of womens hair loss is a lack of a hormone known as DHT. When levels of this hormone become low, hair can fall out, causing a great deal of stress to the woman involved. Luckily, there are some treatments which can help to restore DHT levels and this should help with the problem. Women can always use extensions and hair pieces until their situation improves.
Pregnancy
Womens hair loss as a result of pregnancy is a more common occurrence than you may think. The body is a delicate thing and anything which chances the balance of hormones can have side effects. Hormonal changes in pregnancy can cause hair to fall out. Womens hair loss in pregnancy is generally minimal but on occasion it can be very noticeable and women may wish to use hair enhancers to conceal the problem.
Stress
