Aesop Rock was born in June5. 1976 and his actual name is Ian MatthisaBavitz. He is an American Hip Hop producer also as an artist. Throughout the late 1990s and early 2000s, he was in the front with the new wave option hip hop and underground acts.
Concerning his name, he stated: "I took the name Aesop Rock from the movie I had acted in with some of my buddies. It was really my character name in that movie."
Behind the Music
Ian Matthias was born and raised in Northport, Lengthy Island, New York City towards the father Paul and mother Anita. His mother, Anita, is Jewish. He has two brothers named Chris, born in 1975 and younger 1 Graham, born in 1977.
He was raised Roman Catholic but as he grew up, there had been modifications that occurred in his life and beliefs also. He graduated High School in Northport in 1994 and college in Boston University.
It was found that Aesop Rock had a nervous breakdown in August 2001 and his song entitled 1 of 4 from his album Daylight E.P. shows the struggles he had survived throughout those occasions.
His Lyrics
Aesop Rock's lyrics are usually heard as complicated and abstract. Numerous critics say that the way he utilizes his words aren't detailed and it becomes difficult to figure out their originally intended meaning.
