Are You Looking for a Virtual Office?

Are you looking for a virtual office? Is a pretty weird question, but in the current economic environment perhaps it is a service every businesses should at least consider using. Of all of the types of offices out there a virtual office is probably the cheapest possible option there is.

What Exactly Is a Virtual Office?

In its simplest form a virtual office is exactly what it sounds like i.e. an office which is not entirely real. It is located in a genuine physical office bloc, but all you are doing is using the address for your business.

If you want it to be, a virtual office can also be somewhere to have your post and faxes sent to. The address is manned by a team of receptionists who will sort your post and faxes and ensure that it all gets forwarded to you. You choose how this happens, perhaps you want your mail opened, copied and sent to you on e-mail or simply forwarded to your home address.

You can also have a dedicated phone number at the same location, which is answered on your behalf by a team of receptionists. Your company name is used and the person answering the phone will be professional who will take any messages that they will quickly pass onto you.

Other Services Virtual Office Locations May Offer

In addition to address, fax, mail and phone services some virtual offices also have temporary offices you can hire by the week. Bigger locations have meeting rooms that you can also hire by the hour or half day. However, some providers allocate each firm a certain number of hours of usage for the meeting room instead.

Those providers that have flexible offices offer other facilities such as kitchen facilities, IT support, receptionists and even some secretarial services. However, it is important to find out what is included in your contract and what you have to pay extra for.

A virtual office is definitely the answer for busy entrepreneurs who need office support without the hassle and cost of employing someone full time.
