Enjoy the magnificent place Delhi ……… while on a tour to India


Delhi, the capital of India greets its visitors with warmth and open hands. It is the city which has myriad aspects which has since many years enticing the visitors. Delhi is rich in culture, heritage, human-diversity, history and political significance. Due to all this features Delhi made many heart aspire and dream regarding it. This place has exerted always a mesmerizing appeal on the kids, because they are related to the history which these kiddos have read in their history books. Many holiday planners along with their family come every year to feel the beautiful place and spend their holiday in a bizarre manner. You can also plan a wonderful holiday trip to this beautiful city. This city has lot many things to offer you.

In Delhi city you will find numerous historical monuments. All these monuments possess a different and distinct charm and attraction which carves a deep picture on the minds of all the viewers. The most famous places which you as a tourist can visit in Delhi are stated below:

1.Qutub Minar – You must see the historical monument Qutub Minar. This monument has many other historical monuments in the nearby area which you must see. Qutub Minar is also the venue of Qutub Festival which is held once in a year during November to December. In this many artists, dancers and musicians perform and the festival runs for 3 days. This festival attracts many tourists towards it as it represents the Indian Culture and its diversity in the field of art, music and dance.

2.Red Fort – This monument was during the ruling period of the emperor Shaha Jahan. He has built the Taj Mahal also in Agra. In Delhi this is the largest historical monument situated in the city Delhi. It is made up of red stone and from here the nation is addresses by the Indian Prime Minister on 15ht August, Independence Day.


3.Humayun’s Tomb – This is the 1st garden-tomb built on Indian-sub-continent. While going towards the tomb many other historical buildings come across the way such as Barber’s Tomb, Bu Halima’s Tomb and Isa Khan Tomb and one garden named as Char Bagh Garden.

4.India Gate – It is the India’s national monument which immortalizes about more than 90,000 soldiers who died during the fight in World War I & 3rd Anglo-African War for British Raj. This has today become a picnic spot for the resident of Delhi.

5.Purana Quila – Purana Quila is also known as the Old Fort.

Apart from the above places you still have lot many things to see while on a tour to Delhi Tour. Old Delhi reflects the Mughal period. While you are passing through narrow streets of the Chandani Chowk you can come across the famous mosque Jama Masjid. The lotus temple has been built in recent periods but is also the center of attraction. So plan a trip to the magnificent Delhi.
