Setting Up A BiOrb Aquarium For Your Fish

Many people love the look of BiOrb aquariums, but some people avoid them because they think that they are too much of a hassle to set up. There are many advantages to a BiOrb aquarium. The biggest advantage is that they are made of acrylic instead of glass which means that its more durable. The good news is that they are not that difficult to set up if you follow the instructions closely. Here is a guide to help you.

First, you will want to purchase a BiOrb acrylic tank. Make sure that it comes with everything that it is supposed to come with- including the air pump, filter and a light. It will also come with an instruction guide that will help you. There may be other items included, and these will be listed on the instruction guide or the box. Make sure that you have all included items before you get started with the actual set up process.

The first thing that will need to be done is the positioning of the air stone. It is an easy step and once you have completed it, you can attach your filter. Give it a slight turn to the left to make sure it gets locked into place. This way there is no worry about it coming apart on you when you move to the next step. That's the basic setup of the aquarium, now it is time to get it ready for your fish.

You will want to rinse any sort of pebbles, plants or other d?cor before you put it into the aquarium. Then, you will start by treating some water with water conditioner. This usually comes with the aquarium when you purchase it, and if not you can get it at your local pet supply store. Fill the aquarium with water that has been treated, as regular water is not good for the aquatic animals that you will house in the aquarium.

Finally, you will want to work on the electrical aspect of the BiOrb aquarium. You will start by connecting the air tube with the air pump that was included. Then plug it in and put the lid on the tank. The lid should have an opening for the light, and you can just set it inside and plug it in. Now, your entire BiOrb aquarium is set up, and it will soon be ready for you to add the fish.
