Vehicle access routes will flow better with Ground Protection Mats

During outdoor events vehicles need to gain access to car parks, campsites stages and many more facilities. Events will usually be held on uneven fields or agricultural land, this means that with heavy vehicles passing through on opening days that the ground is most likely to flex in dry weather and in wetter climates will get churned up making it harder for vehicles to pass though.

In the event of an emergency it would take longer for an emergency vehicle to pass through the fields, increasing the risk and chance of fatalities. With a more even path and solid ground under the wheels of any vehicle it will be easier to pass through the field and make process to the required destination.

Outdoor events expect to see their ticketholders pass through their gates as fast as possible. During the summer months it is easily predicted that the weather will be good and stable underfoot, increasing event-goers. During those summer months rain can disrupt the event and put ticketholders off going due to the underfoot conditions. By making the access to these events easier it would increase the chances of more event-goers coming t to the event.

During these events hundreds, possibly thousands, of vehicles would pass through the field to gain access to the car parking facilities. These access routes move slowly if the ground is uneven and muddy. Without these issues the traffic will flow freely throughout the fields and cars shouldn’t get stuck or breakdown. With less vehicles getting stuck or struggling to get through the fields the shows would see a steady flow of traffic flow into their event. Most events that are held within fields will most probably have a gradient which, when muddy, can be difficult to pass in a town car.

Mats can also be used for small prevent events at country houses, generally access would be via a gravel path, however for some vehicles the gravel path may be risen in the middle from constant use preventing lower town cars from gaining access. These can cause cars to get beached on the access path giving them no option but to either reverse back or contact a recovery service. The solution to this would be to raise the tracks slightly so more clearance is given for the underside of the vehicle.

These ground protection mats will help with constant growth and re-growth of those fields that are being used for events. They will also increase flow to these events and help prevent breakdowns and vehicles getting stuck on gradients. The mats will actually do no will do no harm to the fields; only prevent harm. It is much cheaper to go for a ground protection mat than putting down heavy duty systems or expensive aluminium. It is also easy to transport and store for another event.
