Hocine Sidi Said as a Pharma specialist

Mr. Hocine Sidi Said has been in the Pharmaceutical Industry for nearly two decades now. He has gained experience of working all across the globe, covering the Middle East, Central and Eastern Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America. He has worked as a Managing Director in places like India, Indonesia and Denmark.
Mr. Hocine Sidi Said gained his managerial and business skills by obtaining degrees in management as well as business administration from Schiller International University, Paris; and Institute Franco-American de Management, Paris, respectively. He started his career with Pfizer Egypt as a Pharmaceutical Marketing Trainee in June ’86 and several years later, he became the Managing Director as well as the Member of Board of the same company.
Hocine Sidi Said’s career graph experienced a constant and steep growth. In June 1986, he joined Pfizer Egypt as a Pharmaceutical Marketing Trainee.
In 1989, Hocine Sidi Said was appointed as the Pharmaceutical Marketing Assistant for the same company in the Africa/Middle East Headquaters in Vitrolles, France.
In August 1992, he rejoined the company after a small gap, this time as a Marketing Director – Middle East Arab Group, in Cairo, Egypt.
In 1994, Hocine Sidi Said was appointed as a Marketing Manager -Central and Eastern Europe Region (CEER)
The next year he became the Business Development Director – CEER.The following year Hocine Sidi Said was appointed as the Country Manager – Indonesia. He also achieved the position of Country Manager – Denmark in May’99. After 17 years of service, Hocine Sidi Said resigned as the Managing Director of Pfizer and joinedUCB.
Hocine Sidi Said is Algerian by birth and French. He is known to have an in depth knowledge of the industry and is famous for his managerial and business skills. He has earned respect from his juniors for his leadership and has thus successfully managed to motivate his teams to achieve their goals. His strong networking ability and strong negotiation skills have always given him a corporate advantage. |

He is the founder and Director of Bio-nAbler, an investment company that partners with Sovereign wealth Funds and Private Equity Firms across Asia and the MENA region.
