Many a times, it is seen that science and the things beyond the known, come into loggerheads. Articles, speeches, television programs, and even friendly discussions, are related directly or indirectly towards these kinds of subjects. Something, which is unknown, has the knack of attracting people’s attention. They even try to search for answers of the unknown. And this kind of a search takes people into the realms of prophecy and future.
It is not uncommon to hear these words and come across a subject at regular intervals about fortune telling. It could be attributed to the charms of such unknown theories or the quest for the future, which attracts people. But the one thing that is undeniable is the rush of inquisitiveness that passes through the minds and hearts of the common man. It is not as if the layman, not exposed to scientific principles and theories are only believers of such ability to foretell the future.
Many of the researchers, who have tried to find explanations beyond the existence, were and are experts in some field of science. They have been reasoning since a long time that the prophecy and future are existent, but require special powers to realize. These powers, according to them, are present in an individual. The only difference between people is the awakening towards such a theme. Those who are able to perceive this kind of a capability in them are recognized as people to can foretell the future or do a prophecy. Also, this kind of ability is dependent on channelizing the resources and the inner self of a being, which is also said to be augmentation of the concentration.
Knowingly or unknowingly, it is a fact that people have experienced such thoughts or visions, which they find difficult to explain and reason. They must have felt at some point of time, that there is a subconscious expression of a feeling or emotion. Lots of discussions go on about the topic of prophecy, which is labeled as the ability to see the future, even before it actually happens. This kind of an experience is not only discussed but videos, documentaries and movies have been made. A complete series of movies have been made which try to portray the power of prophecy in human beings.
So enigmatic is the assumption of the supernatural that people are sometimes interested to learn prophecy and try to experience such emotions. Although prophecy is not a conscious thing, the ability to foretell the future is considered by many as being akin to forecast and predictions. With the help of some calculations, similar to astrology, this future or fortune telling has become a science, where the planets have a big part to play.
These quests for the unknown have taken huge proportions as far as the discussion and public portrayal are concerned. People have always tried and are still trying to either find explanations with the means of science or through other logical explanations. It is the credibility of the subject that no amount of discussion or explanations has been able to thaw the curiosity and the inquisitiveness, and people are still trying to find answers to the unknown. |
