The Best Motorcycle Song!

There are a ton of websites out there dedicated to motorcycle songs. My friends and I argue all the time as to which are the best motorcycle songs of all time. These arguments have driven me to write this article. We all I love our motorcycles, we love getting out on the road and cruising after a long day of work. We love hooking up with our friends or family at the favorite watering holes. And, it is the songs about these times that keep us going while putting in time at work. Whether you like your job, love your job or hate your job; it is these songs that keep us going when our boss is breathing down our necks.
Before I list out what many agree are the best motorcycle songs of all time; I would like to look at the criteria involved in coming to such decisions. First, a motorcycle song must accurately capture the thoughts of motorcycle riders. Second, the feelings and connections we have to our bikes must be understood. And, finally, in order for a song to be considered for this list; the song must deal primarily with the freedom of the open road. With that, I will list out the songs that make the list of best of all time.
1. Open Road by Joey J and the Shovelheads - The following phrases from Joey J's song embody the life style we love. That is the primary reason this is the best motorcycle song of all time. And, if you look, nearly one million bikers agree with me. Check it out on youtube - Its a freedom loving lifestyle I adore She's waiting for me behind my garage door; If you don't ride then you don't know Where I've been and where I'm going Its all about the freedom of the open road Open the throttle and roll.
2. Motorcycle by Love and Rockets - Who will ever forget this little ditty. And, the refrain that goes like this.You just set me free It don't go too fast Just let me out. Let me out of work, let me out of the garage, let me outta here. Cheers!
3. Two Wheels Move the Soul by Sasha - Hey this feelings we experience riding our motorcycles isn't limited to med. Women love their bikes too. And, I am all for a chick on a bike. And, a chick that sings about their feelings on a bike is a site to see. I love you Sasha.
4. Ride by Joe Satriani - Life is so short, we've got no time to waste at all. Doesn't this phrase from the song capture the way we all feel? Life is too short to live on four wheels.
5. Motorcycle Song by Billy Joel - What can I say, you have to include the Motorcycle Song in a list of best motorcycle songs.
