Oblique crunches are one of the most recommended workout routines to building fabulous abdominals. With proper form and technique, you will get rid of the muffin-like formations that hide your abs.

This particular exercise that will be revealed in this article is called the Oblique Decline Crunches. At the gym, you will find several decline benches and you will utilize one of these throughout this workout. This exercise may be a little challenging but it guarantees results. The Oblique Decline Crunches will really shape your abs in no time. Let’s see how this exercise is done.

With a decline bench, position yourself with your feet locked in at the top. Place your left hand over your left ear, while your right hand is placed on your right thigh or hip. At the same time, slowly raise your upper body and twist your torso to the right. Maintain your abdominals tight and keep slow and controlled movements. Perform this movement until your left elbow touches your right knee. After accomplishing this, slowly lower your body back down to the starting position. After completing one set on the left, turn to do repetitions on your right side. In order to get maximum results, make sure to really flex your midsection for one-count at the top of this movement.

Make sure your do this exercise in proper form and technique. Make sure to lift from your oblique muscles and not from your neck. Lifting from the neck may cause neck injuries so be sure you are working your oblique muscles. Try to do as much repetitions as you can in order to really shape your abdominals. If you do this exercise faithfully and with no fail, you will surely see your ripped abs in no time.
