The Excellent HTC Evo 3D Boasts Cutting-Edge 3D Functions

The HTC Evo 3D is one of the manufacturer’s latest flagship smartphones, offering a wealth of impressive features. As the name suggests, it allows users to view and 3D imagery as well as capture 3D video footage. But there is a lot more to this handset than just its 3D credentials.
In this article I will take a look at some of the other features of the HTC Evo 3D so you can decide if it is the right handset for you when choosing your next smartphone.
The HTC Evo 3D is something of a smartphone powerhouse. Within the casing, you will find a dual-core processor, advanced touchscreen, latest Android OS with the new Sense UI. These features will be the focus of this article.
There are only a small number of smartphones currently available which offer dual-core processors. What are the benefits of this technology? There are several aspects of the phone’s performance which relies on its processing power. For starters, the touchscreen is very responsive, responding to the slightest gesture of the users’ fingertip. Another advantage of this technology is the fact that it allows more efficient multitasking. In the case of the HTC Evo 3D, this may mean a user may for example be browsing the web but then decide to take a photo using the built in camera. They can exit the browser to take the photo and when they return to the web browser, the handset will still have the same page loaded.
The screen on the HTC Evo 3D is very impressive for a number of reasons. Not only is it capable of displaying 3D content, but it also has one of the highest resolutions available on a smartphone. At 540x 960 it is only beaten by the likes of the Apple iPhone 4. Additionally, it is capable of displaying up to 16 million colours, so the display quality is nothing short of fantastic. The screen is also generously proportioned at 4.3 inches, so it is easy to use and great for viewing photos and videos as well as playing games and browsing the web.
The latest version of Android for smartphones, v2.3 makes an appearance alongside the highly innovative HTC Sense user interface. The latter is geared towards making everyday usage that little bit more convenient, with numerous features which solve common problems or frustrations which mobile phone users come across on a daily basis. It is also highly customisable with up to 7 homescreens at the user’s disposal and these can be customised to a high degree with apps, widgets and skins.
There is obviously much more to the HCT Evo 3D than what I have covered in this article. It is also very hard to say anything negative about this phone. Whilst its 3D functionality may not be for everyone, it has a spec list to appeal to all kinds of user. It is likely that 3D technology will soon be a common feature on mobile phones, and the HTC Evo 3D shows what a forward thinking company the Taiwanese manufacturer is.
