B & B Edinburgh

One of the distinct advantages of staying in a Bed and Breakfast over a hotel tends to be the ability to come and go as one pleases without being tied into to an evening meal regime or complicated activities programme that we feel we have paid for and therefore must utilise. One of the other advantages which is often not taken into account is the more personal service One can expect to receive.

Better Service

Whilst size certainly seems to matter to the hotelier the Bed and Breakfast owner recognises that staying on the small side of life means giving better service, whether it’s tailoring a menu specifically for the guest at hand or tailoring mealtimes to suit their schedule there’s a great deal to be said for downgrading size but bulking up on quality. Whilst the hotel might be the usual go-to place for city breaks b & b’s are usually found in more rural and picturesque locations.

Freedom

When staying in a city such as Edinburgh that fusion of freedom and service together with the blend of urban and rural areas can be nothing but a positive. With its unique blend of culture and tourist attractions Edinburgh really does have it all. Whether it’s a weekend at the world famous Edinburgh Fringe to an afternoon at the celebrated zoo your very wish for a city break is Edinburgh’s command. As the UK’s second favourite city break destination after London and with a massive 2 million visitors each year pouring £4billion into the local economy Edinburgh and her residents certainly know how to look after the visitors.

Staying in a B & B near Edinburgh not only gives you the opportunity of making the most of the cultural hotspots and all heritage which make up this thriving city but also being within close proximity to the famous rolling hills and rugged landscape for which Scotland is famous. Whether it’s a climbing, hiking or fishing there’s an option for everyone in the beautiful countryside of Midlothian can cater for your every outdoor pursuit.
