The White iPhone 5-Will The Curved Design Return

It seems as though fans of white handsets will not have to wait too long for the launch of the White iPhone 5. The iPhone 4 model followed nearly a year after the release of the black version much to the annoyance of consumers waiting for the models launch. It seems that we will be treated to the release of both colour variants at the same time in the coming weeks.
Despite no specification being confirmed yet we can be fairly assured of numerous changes on this new model. There is much talk that the model will return to the curved finish found on earlier iPhones and this always looked superb with the white finish. With regards to size we can be sure that the phone will be a little larger than previous versions but this can be attributed to the fact that the phone will offer a larger display. Current rumours suggest either a 3.7 inch or a 4 inch screen but whatever size is chosen the display will still boast a resolution at least equal to the Retina display fitted on the iPhone 4. Many new handsets such as the Samsung Galaxy S2 have scaled down the overall depth of the phone so expect Apple to attempt to make this new model the thinnest iPhone to date. Another area that will see an update in order to compete with rival models is the phones camera feature. A rise from 5 million to 8 million pixels is to be expected and it looks as though Sony may develop the handsets camera components as the original company that was commissioned, Omnivision, are experience problems with the manufacture of this part. This may prove good news for media fans given Sonys history in producing superb camera phones.
The White iPhone 5 may well incorporate Near Field Communication technology. Known as NFC this effectively turns your iPhone into a virtual wallet. Your handsets has your debit card details stored and wirelessly communicates with compatable check outs in shops and outlets. This can really change how we complete transactions, imagine stepping onto a train and being charged automatically for your ticket or filling up your car with petrol and not needing to enter the station. Whether or not the iPhone 5 will incorporate this remains to be seen but its inclusion on models such as the Google Nexus S coupled with the number of outlets adopting the technology suggest that Apple may be wise to include this feature. The new phone is set to remain one of the leading models for web browsing thanks to great connectivity options when you are on the move or at home. WiFi and 3G will both be included and the phones new operating system will also include numerous updates to the Safari browser to further enhance the users online experience.
The White iPhone 5 will be with us very soon and early supports suggest the anticipated demand for this model may exceed the record breaking figures achieved by the iPhone 4. The phone is destined to become the leading smartphone and will raise the bar for brands such as HTC and Samsung to follow.
