Following that, now place the window in the opening. Fix the window in the middle of the opening with the help of a carpenter’s square. Now pass a nail parting through the nailing projection and make use of screws to secure the position of window at the correct place. Hold the window from any of the corner and fit in the nail properly. Alongside check if it is correctly fit. Gradually removing of screw and fitting in of nails will let u fix the window which needs to be checked from all the corners once it is being done with the fixations.
Checking is not restricted to the nails only. A window once fixed need to be checked from outside and inside. Move the window properly and check whether it operates well from both the sides. Finally for the safety of your window, all you need to do is place the thin blob of caulk around the window glass so as to fix it permanently.
