If they allow links in signatures, then that's great - but it's also a really good idea to read the Forum Rules section, etc.
You should try to have your main/primary keyword in the title of your posts, so that it becomes easy for you to rank in the search engines with your posts. The search engine spides/bots crawl the better forums very often, and your post can be ranked very highly in a matter of minutes. How about a page one ranking for a decent keyword/phrase in minutes? That's what we're talking ahout here. That is just one way to use forum threads and posts to capture organic traffic.
Never forget about your forum signature because it can work wonders for you. You can do this by including images that can be linked to your website or blog where you want to drive traffic.Not everyone reads all the posts, so your signature may be overlooked or just not noticed. Not every forum will let you do this, but if you can then the image will help to call attention. Using an image that is somehow relevant to your website won't hurt and may help. Plus, images are much more interesting than text, and that's true any day of the week. Forum marketing will cost you an investment of time, but if you do it intelligently then it will certainly pay off, hugely. Once you get the hang of this marketing method, you'll realize the kind of value it can deliver and what it can do for your online business.
