Looking to date a farmer? Here's how to boost your confidence
|
Dating is a subject that, it is fair to say, causes great intimidation to many people. It's so incredibly easy to suffer a 'confidence crisis' if you even begin to think about trying to find a mate, to the point that you never get round to it at all. Are your ears too big, or are you too much of a nerd? Would any guy be interested in you given that you're carrying a few extra pounds, or are you too shy and introverted to ever attract a hot girl's attention?
These worries are often only amplified amongst single farmers, not least given that living and working in the countryside can be a rather isolating experience, even at the best of times. If, therefore, you are on the lookout for country friends, it can help your chances immeasurably if you boost your confidence levels, and there are various ways of doing this. After all, you'll be even less likely to ever date a farmer if you spend all of your time indoors, never showing yourself to the world!
First of all, you should ascertain within yourself whether you really are ready to meet someone new - and if you aren't, you should take your time when looking for single farmers. Then, it helps to be brutally honest about all of the things about yourself that you are not comfortable with - and by all means, make a list if you wish to. This can be followed by paying attention to the most basic elements of your appearance, lifestyle and regime, as even small changes at this stage can make a big difference to your confidence level - and this will certainly be noticed by prospective country friends.
It may be the case, for example, that you want to tidy up your hair, introduce new elements to your skincare regime, or replace those tattered jeans or scruffy shirts from your student days with something smarter, edgier and more appropriate to your new image. Of course, being confident isn't just about your appearance - it's also about your behaviours and goals in life. Establish some consistent good habits, and don't forget to assess your career goals. Develop other areas of your life, such as by adopting new hobbies, in order to make yourself a more interesting person to prospective country friends.
Finally, it's time for the really brave bit... the process of actually asking out country friends! It's time to forget about the 'old you' and show greater confidence when you next date a farmer. |
