Fairy lighting can be used all year round

When thinking of fairy lighting, a lot of people will automatically think of Christmas trees and the festive season. As fairy lighting is one of the most effective ways of adding warmth and atmosphere to almost any environment, it would be a real shame to limit using them to only a few weeks of the year.

Solar fairy lighting is a great way of spicing up your garden during the summer months. Rather than solely relying on any outdoor spotlights you may have, complement the overlook look and feel of the garden by using fairy lighting. When using solar fairy lighting, you will have no running costs to pay either as they run from the light and heat from the sun which means you can have them on for a barbeque well into the early hours without having to worry about having an extortionate electricity bill.

These lights do not only have to be used for an event such as a party of barbeque either as they can be used at all times to highlight the most impressive or attractive areas of your home or garden. Some people choose to have them in their hallways, while others use them to add a romantic touch in the bedroom.

As most of us consider the mantelpiece and fireplace to be one of the main focal points in the living room area, another great idea is to put some fairy lights along the top of the fireplace. The look can avoid becoming too ‘Christmassy’ by keeping all other details simple and classic.

With so many colours to choose from, you can consider what type of look or feel you want to go for too when choosing fairy lights. Certainly there is more to choose from than going for the simple white light such as red fairy lights that could be used to warm up any room.
