Sleeping bags are a very important piece of kit, and depending on when you are planning to go camping, having the right sleeping bag can be a matter of safety. In the winter months, a winter sleeping bag will be appropriate, and will offer an important extra layer of protection.
In the rush to pack all of the latest camping gizmos, you should not forget the simple things. The right outdoor clothing is critical for campers (unless they are at a music festival perhaps.) The same kinds of rules apply with outdoor clothing as with camping equipment. So, just as your sleeping bag will protect you from the cold, so your clothes should do the same job.
To conclude with a little tip, if, even with a decent sleeping bag, you find yourself cold at night, throw on a few layers, and you should notice a dramatic improvement in your situation. |
